Luckily I found West Highland Hire and was able to pick up a tent within hours of inquiry. High quality equipment, my tent was very easy and quick to set up and take down, and it handles the wind and rain like a champ.
Also, get the midge nets! It's such a waste to buy them for a single use but you will definitely regret it if you won't have them.
Amazing service, very easy to book online and good customer service on WhatsApp + they have good selection.
Prices are amazing for what you are getting, definitely worth it (and more)

However, the tents aren’t very spacious, so if you’re two people, I’d recommend choosing a 3-person tent for a bit more room and comfort. What gear can I rent?

Our catalogue of equipment includes:

Camping gas is not included with our stoves, however it is available from the collection point (Creature Comforts – Milngavie) and at multiple locations along the route.

Is the gear suitable for walking the West Highland Way?

West Highland Way walkers are our most common customers. All equipment hired has been selected for Scottish outdoor conditions, including wind, rain, and variable temperatures commonly experienced in the Scottish Highlands

Can I use the equipment for my own adventure route?

Absolutely - you can rent gear to use on your own adventure so long as you can collect and return to our drop points on time.

Can I collect and return to different locations?

Yes, just select the collection and return locations whilst choosing your gear. This should show as an option on the bottom of the product page.

Where can I find information about collection/return opening hours?
